Here's a table of rates for each type of repair, and all prices include parts and labor. If I can't fix it, you don't pay!
I also ask that you pay return postage, which will be the going rate for U.S. Priority Flat Rate Priority, or International Priority, plus optional insurance.

It's best to send the entire assembly: board, transformer, and mounting plate, so I can properly test it. If you want to send just the board, be aware that you'll have to cut or remove the wires that go to the board, and then reappy them properly. Shipping the entire assembly is not that bad as the USPS has a flat-rate priority box that the whole assembly will fit in, which costs less than 10.00, plus insurance.
BE SURE TO ADD LOTS OF PACKING MATERIAL AROUND THE TRANSFORMER TO KEEP IT
FROM SHIFTING AROUND IN THE BOX!!!
I like to nail a small piece of wood inside the box, then screw the mounting plate to that in order to secure it.
I CAN NOT TEST YOUR BOARD UNLESS ALL WIRES ARE STILL ATTACHED!
So feel free to send me your board(s) or assemblies and I'll take a look and let you know what I think, then you can decide what to do from there. Probably a good idea if you e-mail me first, just so I know what to expect (remove the NO_S*P*A*M_).
Here's a picture of an TA-100 that I recently refirbushed. Prior to this repair the header pins were scorched, and both resistors looked stressed. It got new bridge rectifiers too.
Of course, there's always Ts & Cs
(revised), and don't forget prices DO NOT include shipping.
If you decide to "do it yourself", visit
Big Daddy or
GPE
for all the parts you'll need.
I'll still fix it when you're done. :-)
Thanks!
