Yes, I Make House Calls

If you have a pinball machine that needs service at your home, I may be able to make a house call and fix your problems.

Here are my rates:

• $25.00 for the first hour or fraction thereof (the clock starts when I pull into your drive way)
• $30.00 per hour for each hour after that, in 15 minute increments
• $1.00 per mile, one way
• Parts are extra

Here are my limitations:

• Early Bally Solid State machines (Power Play, Eight Ball, Mata Hari, Eight Ball Deluxe, Flash Gordon, etc.): I am very good with these machines and most likely I can fix what's wrong with your machine.
• Bally Home Version Pinball Machines: I can probably fix anything that's wrong with these machines, however some of the components on the main board are no longer available so there may be some MPU issues that I can not repair.

• Early Stern Solid State machines (Flight 2000, Viper, Nine Ball, etc.): These are a lot like Bally early solid state machines, so it's most likely I can fix what's wrong with your machine.
• Gottlieb System-1 machines (Joker Poker, Sinbad, Buck Rogers, etc.): I am somewhat knowledgable of these machines and can probably fix any non-board related issues. I can probably fix driver and display issues too. MPU and Power Supply issues are probably not something can fix due to lack of equipment obsolete parts, and crappy original power supplies.
• Gottlieb System-80 machines (Black Hole, Haunted House, Mars, etc.): I am somewhat knowledgable of these machines and can probably fix any non-board related issues. I can probably fix driver and display issues too. MPU and Power Supply issues are probably not something can fix due to lack of equipment and/or test fixtures.
• Gameplan machines and Cocktails (Sharpshooter, etc.): I am somewhat knowledgable of these machines has they are a lot like Bally solid state machines.

• Williams System-3 through System-7 machines (Time Warp, Fire Power, etc...): I am somewhat knowledgable of these machines and can probably fix any non-board related issues. Board problems are a different story. I can handle the Power Supply board, but that's about it.

• Any other Solid State Machine (late model Bally and Gottlieb, Late Model Stern, Genco, Chicago Coin, WPC, ANY machine with a Dot Matrix Display, or DMD): I know very little about these machines and can only repair the most minor of issues such as playfield problems (switches, flippers, etc). I am not familiar with nor am I equipped to repair any boards or displays.

• Any Electro-mechanical (EM) machine: I have some experience with EM machines, but I'm by no means an expert. I may be able to repair minor issues (stuck coils, stuck score reels, etc.) and playfield problems.

  So basically, it's like this: If you own an early Bally solid state machine, I can almost always get it working. Early Gottlieb solid state machines, maybe. Early Williams solid state machines possibly. EM, possibly. WPC and any DMD machine, doubtful.

  If possible, I may be able to do board work at your place too. I bring a small supply of parts, but only limited test equipment. If I feel I can repair your board at your place, then my normal repair prices will apply, IN ADDITION to the hourly rate. If prefered, I can take the board(s) home with me, and repair them in my shop. Again, normal repair prices apply, but no hourly rate this time, unless I have to return them to your place and reinstall them. An alternative would be for me to mail them to you (or you pick them up) and you reinstall them yourself.

  I do not stock every possible part so I may have to order stuff so I can make the proper repairs.
