Thanks to on-board power connectors, I can easily test this board on my bench, so there's no need to send the complete assembly, just disconnect the plugs, unscrew the board, and pop it in a box.So feel free to send me your board(s) or assemblies and I'll take a look and let you know what I think, then you can decide what to do from there. Probably a good idea if you e-mail me first, just so I know what to expect (remove the NO_S*P*A*M_).
Here's a picture of an AS-1825-54 that I recently refurbished. This one got the works - new parts all around, including new connector headers, fuses, big heavy duty diodes, and extra beefy bridges, mounted on the bottom just like the original:
(Scorching is normal on these boards under the big diodes and under the two power resistors)
Of course, there's always Ts & Cs
(revised again), and don't forget prices DO NOT include shipping.
If you decide to "do it yourself", visit
Big Daddy or
GPE
for all the parts you'll need.
I'll still fix it when you're done. :-)
Thanks!
